NEW ORLEANS -- Parties in a benzene case have exchanged briefing on whether testimony from several experts is admissible in anticipation of a February trial date. Morin, et al. v. Chevron USA Inc., et al., No. 11-45 (E.D. La.).
In the briefs filed the first week of January in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, both parties attack the general causation opinions of the experts with the defendants additionally asking the court to sanction the plaintiffs for destroying a personal computer.
