Paint Case Scheduled for Feb. Trial; DuPont Lone Remaining Defendant

MCKINNEY, Texas -- The claims of a former autobody repairman and painter are scheduled for a Feb. 25 trial, with only DuPont remaining as a defendant in the proceedings, sources told HarrisMartin. Draper, et al. v. PPG Industries, et al., No. 199-02538-04 (Texas 199th Dist. Ct., Collin Cty.).

In the second amended complaint, Duane and Teena Draper claim that Duane's acute myelogenous leukemia was caused by his work with a number of benzene-containing products, including primers, paints, sealers, solvents and cleaning materials.
