Court Grants Defendant's Motion to Dismiss in Separate, Dissolution-Related Action

WILMINGTON, Del. -- A Delaware Court has granted a benzene defendant's motion to dismiss a separate complaint in which the plaintiffs contended that the dissolution of the company had precluded recovery. Lecrenier, et al. v. Central Oil Asphalt, et al., No. 4927-VCN (Del. Ct. Chancery).

In the Dec. 22 opinion, the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware found that until the benzene lawsuit pending against the company in Florida is resolved, the company's dissolution will not be complete.
