NEW ORLEANS -- A federal court overseeing a Louisiana benzene case has granted in part a motion to compel documents from ExxonMobil, ordering the plaintiffs to explain what specific responses they want from the discovery requests. Wagoner, et al. v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. 09-07257 (E.D. La.).
In the Dec. 15 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana also asked the parties to meet on Dec. 22 and if, at that time, they could not agree on the discovery requests or responses, to contact the court. At that time, the court will resolve the …
