1st Circuit Issues Notice Confirming Dec. 7 Oral Argument in Admissibility Dispute

BOSTON -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit has issued a calendaring notice confirming Dec. 7 as the day parties in a benzene case will argue whether a plaintiff expert "applied a methodologically reliable approach" when reaching her conclusions. Milward v. Acuity Specialty Products Group Inc., et al., No. 09-2270 (1st Cir.).

In the notice, issued Oct. 27, the court states that oral arguments will begin at 9:30 a.m., and that no continuance will be allowed "except for grave cause."
