NEW ORLEANS -- A Louisiana federal court has granted a defense motion to quash a deposition request, agreeing with the benzene defendant that the deposition notice was procedurally flawed. Scioneaux, et al. v. Elevating Boats LLC, et al., No. 10-0133 (E.D. La.).
In the Oct. 20 ruling, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana said that because the plaintiff had failed to particularize the topics she sought to address at the deposition, the notice was defective.
