TACOMA, Wash. –– Crosby Valve LLC has been awarded summary judgment in an Washington federal court, which concluded that the plaintiffs had failed provide evidence establishing a “reasonable connection” between the decedent’s injuries and products manufactured, sold, or supplied by the company.

In a Dec. 5 order, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington highlighted the lack of testimony of witnesses with personal knowledge of the decedent using an asbestos-containing product for which Crosby Valve is responsible.
