Mo. Jury Awards $8.4 Million at Conclusion of Asbestos Trial Against Ford Motor




ST. LOUIS — A Missouri jury awarded $8.4 million to a former Ford Motor dealership mechanic, accepting his claims that his mesothelioma was caused by asbestos exposure incurred during his employment.

The Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City Judy reached the verdict on Aug 22 after an eight-day trial and approximately eight hours of deliberations.

Hon. Christopher McGraugh presided over the trial.
