NEWPORT NEWS, Va. –– A Virginia federal court has adopted a recommendation that the plaintiffs’ in limine motion regarding U.S. Navy knowledge should be granted, agreeing with the magistrate judge that John Crane could not argue that it had no idea that its products were dangerous and simultaneously argue that the U.S. Navy knew its products were dangerous and was responsible for warning about these dangers.
