Del. Court Rejects Plaintiff Efforts to Strike Crane Co.’s Motion for Summary Judgment in Asbestos Case

WILMINGTON, Del. –– A Delaware federal court has denied an asbestos plaintiff’s motion to strike a summary judgment motion filed by Crane Co., concluding that the brief was not untimely since it constituted an “other dispositive motion” under the scheduling order.
In the Dec. 15 order, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware ordered the parties to continue briefing on the defendant’s summary judgment motion.
