N.C. Court Grants Motion Ordering Release of Pathology Materials in Asbestos Case

RALEIGH, N.C. –– A North Carolina federal court has granted a motion to release pathology materials in an asbestos case, finding that the defendant’s actions prior to the fact discovery deadline constituted reasonable diligence.
In the Nov. 2 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina also issued a protective order governing the release of the materials.
