Reaching Big Asbestos Settlements





In a little more than half a month, hundreds of thousands of claims against three companies were potentially wiped off the books in exchange for settlements totaling more than $5 billion.

Halliburton, Honeywell & Sealed Air all reportedly reached agreements with asbestos claimants that will cover nearly all pending and future asbestos claims filed against the companies.
