Los Angeles Jury Reaches Defense Verdict for John Crane




LOS ANGELES -- A Los Angeles jury has reached a defense verdict for John Crane in a chrysotile asbestos case, rejecting the plaintiffs' contention that work with the company's packing and gasket products exposed him to asbestos. Larry and Sheryl Lindquist v. John Crane Inc., No. BC382729 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

John Crane was the lone remaining defendant at the time of the Oct. 20 verdict. The trial was presided over by Judge Richard L. Fruin Jr.
