Ill. Court Remands Asbestos Suit, Reiterates Stance that Defendant Knew Federal Defense Was Available

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. –– An Illinois federal court has remanded another asbestos lawsuit, maintaining its stance in an order issued in a separate, unrelated lawsuit just days earlier that the removing defendant should have known a colorable federal defense was available since it did not manufacture products for anyone other than the U.S. Government.
