NEW YORK -- A New York federal court has thrown out asbestos claims against Crane Co., ruling that the defendant could not be held liable for injuries allegedly caused by exposure to asbestos insulation supplied by a third party and later applied to the defendant's boilers. Surre v. Foster Wheeler LLC, et al., No. 07-9431 (S.D. N.Y.).
