HOUSTON -- A Texas appellate court has reversed judgment entered against a premises defendant, ruling that despite evidence that the defendant supplied and specified the use of asbestos-containing products on its property, there was a lack of evidence that the defendant controlled the manner in which those products were used. Union Carbide Corp. and Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc., v. Smith, et al., No. 01-08-00641-CV (Texas 1st Dist. Ct. App.).
