ST. PAUL, Minn. - A lawsuit filed on behalf of the late U.S. Rep. Bruce Vento has been filed against 11 manufacturers and distributors allegedly responsible for exposing him to asbestos during his years as a laborer in Minnesota. Vento v. AC&S, Inc., No. C4-00-8411 (Minn. Dist. Ct., Ramsey Cty.).

U.S. Rep. Bruce F. Vento (D-Minn.) and his wife, Susan Lynch Vento, filed their long-awaited asbestos personal injury lawsuit Sept. 26 in Ramsey County, just two weeks before Bruce Vento succumbed to mesothelioma.
