Prior to joining OnderLaw in 2021, Michael was an attorney at a large, well-respected downtown law firm where he focused his practice on product liability and premises liability cases. Throughout his career, Michael has also litigated medical malpractice and consumer law cases, and has first and second chair jury trial and arbitration experience. He has attended over a thousand depositions and is an experienced litigator in all aspects of cases from inception through settlement or trial. Michael currently works on a variety of personal injury cases, including supervising and litigating several types of product liability cases on behalf of victims throughout the country who have been injured by various manufacturers’ defective and dangerous products. He enjoys spending time with his family, including as a soccer dad watching his two children play a variety of sports, including soccer and track.

Since founding The Nations Law Firm in 1971, Howard Nations has built a national reputation focused on catastrophic injuries and wrongful death, medical devices and pharmaceutical mass tort litigation, and anti-terrorism veterans’ litigation representing wounded warriors. As a leader, Howard served as President of The National Trial Lawyers, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Belli Society, the Aletheia Institute, and the Trucking Lawyers Association, as well as serving five years on AAJ’s Executive Committee. His accolades include the Trial Lawyers Hall of Fame, AAJ’s Lifetime Achievement Award, National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, the State Bar of Texas Outstanding 50 Year Lawyer Award, as well as being acknowledged in Best Lawyers in America and America’s Most Influential Trial Lawyers. As a legal lecturer, Howard has spoken in all 50 states, 6 Canadian Provinces and 12 foreign countries and was co-founder of AAJ’s National College of Advocacy.
