Neil D. Overholtz specializes in pharmaceutical litigation, and has successfully handled thousands of defective drug and medical device cases, including fen-phen, Rezulin, Baycol, Bextra/Celebrex, Vioxx, Medtronic Defibrillators, and Guidant Defibrillators.

Recently, Mr. Overholtz has the distinction of having been appointed as national counsel on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees for several federal products liability MDL’s (Mullti-District litigations), including the Trasylol MDL pending in federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida, before the Honorable Judge Middlebrooks, the Viagra MDL in the District Court in Minnesota, before the Honorable Judge Magnuson, as well as the Medtronic Sprint Fidelis Lead Wire MDL before United States District Court Judge Richard Kyle. Additionally, Mr. Overholtz has served as co-lead counsel in the In Re America Online, Inc Version 5.0 Software Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1341 (S.D. Fla), helping to negotiate a cash settlement for affected AOL members in excess of $15 Million as well as significant injunctive relief.

Genevieve Zimmerman is a trial attorney whose practice focuses exclusively on representing individuals injured by pharmaceutical drugs and defective medical devices. She has both first and second chair trial experience, and has successfully resolved thousands of claims in settlement.

Genevieve is court appointed co-lead counsel for plaintiffs in MDL 2666: In re Bair Hugger® Products Liability Litigation, and is a court appointed member of the Plaintiffs' Lead Counsel Committee for MDL 2441: In re Stryker Rejuvenate and ABGII Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation. She was court appointed to the PSC for the Biomet MDL, and helps patients suffering from hips made by Smith & Nephew, DePuy, Wright/MicroPort, and Zimmer as well.

In connection with the "Bair Hugger" litigation, Genevieve is actively representing patients who suffered infections following total hip or knee replacement surgery.

Genevieve's past work has included helping heart defibrillator patients after a Guidant recall of nearly 50,000 ICDs. She represented patients who suffered serious injuries and death following use of the recalled prescription drug Vioxx. Genevieve represents patients who have experienced knee replacement failure. She also represents people hurt by Abilify, Yaz, Transvaginal Mesh, Actos, Mirena and Taxotere.
