Judge Allows Joinder of Doctor to Defeat Diversity in Generic Paxil Case

LAFAYETTE, La. - A federal judge has permitted a plaintiff to rejoin a physician and the practice where he worked as defendants in a generic Paxil wrongful death suit, a move the judge said requires remand of the action to state court. Delahoussaye v. Apotex Corp., No. 07-1325 (W.D. La.).
