NEWARK, N.J. –– Defendants involved in the Talcum Powder products multidistrict litigation docket have opposed the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee’s recent motion to reconsider a ruling requesting the re-filing of Daubert motions, maintaining that the PSC is merely seeking to “freeze the question of general causation in time.”

In an April 22 opposition brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the defendants maintained that “the law, the science and the record have changed in material respects over the last four years, justifying a fresh look at the reliability of plaintiffs’ experts’ opinions.”
